I am now writing my next book. Yorkshire Hangings at Wakefield. I have only just started, so could be a while before it's ready, but watch this space. I never realised how much work is done before the writing began, but I love writing.

My book is now out! it is on Kindle download and you can buy a paperback copy. I cannot believe I finally did it!

Yorkshire Hangings at York - 1800 to 1839

by Bailey Townend.

Hi everybody, I'm sorry I have not been on for a while but I have been finishing my book. It's a little morbid, but I like it. It is all about people who were hanged for murder in the 19th century at York. I have loved doing it and it is now published on Amazon. The paperback is not finished yet but will be shortly. It is called Yorkshire Hangings at York 1800 to 1839 by Bailey Townend and I love it!!!!!

I have been in the hospital with my catheter again. This time it was my fault, but that's not why I am writing this. I went to accident and emergency at around 3 pm and the wait was supposed to be approximately 4.5 hours. by 7.30 pm all had changed. The online countdown had stopped working and people were talking about nine-hour waits. I finally got in and there were no trollies so I had to wait again so the doctor could find one. He finally did, then decided to send me to the ward......with no beds. The people waiting were all sat in a room. At around 2 pm I finally got to see a urologist, who dare not do the work as all she had done for a long time was work on nights in ear, nose and throat! I went home a little later but had to be back by nine the next morning to see a urologist.

How are the hospitals coping these days? Ours is only a little hospital, and when it was built it was obviously not big enough, it definitely is not! When in accident and emergency trollies cannot be found to treat people on because sick people are taking them all up, and doctors time is wasted trying to find beds for people, ours is not!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have not posted for a while, but I have been working on my book. It is finished, and now being proofread as we speak. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there is not too much to change and I can soon be publishing, although I have the cover, the title and a few bit inside to complete. I must admit I find it quite addictive writing a book and I think I may write more. My desk is full of notebooks with scribbles in and even my dad is telling me what to write about next, so I have about ten more books to do! Anyway, I will let you know on here when it is published.

Thank for all your effort spent on editing my memoirs. I am not sure if I will ever publish them for more than my family, but it is nice know I can if I want to
